I have lived in this complex for 2 years. Prior to this complex I lived in 5 others. This is by far, the best place I've lived in. When I rate it, I'm considering everything from the quality of living to the trash service. The maintenance team is fantastic! They respond quickly and are thorough with repairs. At my renewal they had to raise rent that year, but in return they made 4 upgrades to my apartment as well as cleaning the carpets and touching up the paint on the walls. The windows and siding are great, my apartment never gets drafty in the winter. There's plenty of parking and they have garages too. They made a handicapped spot for me to park my van for my disabled daughter and they were super quick about it. The onsite storage is a great help and it's super affordable. Neighbors aren't great anywhere, but here most of them stick to themselves which is great! They use a security company that actually shows up (most complexes say that but you never see it). The location is perfect. Jason's Deli delivers FOR FREE. They offer pretty much every emenity. Here you get a beautiful AND affordable home. Awesome company. Great place to live. We were involved in the 09-10-13 apt fire. Management was apathetic. Clark Lindstrom the regional manager snapped at me. What are you wanting then, he asks. I wasn't even talking to him I was talking to the leasing agent. The lease has a NO liability clause which they pointed out excessively. It's also illegal to have in a lease. They knew about electrical problems in the building prior to the fire which was electrical! The property manager is micromanaged and cannot even provide us a copy of our lease without conferring with Clark. We lost our home and were treated like garbage by the staff of Northpark. They told us to google the corporate# because they couldn't give it out. The Peterson companies # is 913-384-3800 if anyone needs it. Rent at your own risk. All they want from you is $ and won't fix what's broken.

I was involved in the apartment fire on the 23rd of July and they were rude from the start of everything. The immediately evicted me and told me I was to have all my things removed from the apartment by Tuesday morning. There was no where for me to go and they did not care, they never offered any assistance and showed no sympathy towards me and the others in the apartment complex. The thing that makes me the most mad is that I had recently rented a garage. When I got the opener I went to the garage and it was filthy, it was filled with dirt and leaves and tons of insects, they told me they would not clean it, so I cleaned it myself, no biggie, but then when I got my deposit check back I got 29 dollars back from my 60 dollar rental fee so I got to pay them 31 dollars the clean their garage and use it for 3 days, how wonderful is that? Some of my neighbors did not have renters insurance and when asked by management if they did, they replied no, and all they could say was "Well you should have had insurance." I would not recommend living here, the management is just not what it should be for the amount of rent that you have to pay.
