In his practice, Westlake Village plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Schwartz has developed a national reputation in breast, body and facial surgery. He is a National educator for both Sientra and Mentor Corporations, and has spoken at meetings around the country teaching other plastic surgeons about the new Anatomic Shaped Breast Implants. Dr. Schwartz is sought out by patients from around the world for his expertise in these areas. Dr. Schwartz is known for his natural results. New techniques in plastic surgery allow for more natural results in both breast and facial surgery. In addition, the newest techniques in abdominal surgery allow patients to have nearly pain free recovery, and have eliminated the need for drains or tubes. Patients are back to normal activities and work much sooner, and can resume exercise as early as three weeks after surgery in most cases. In his office, Dr. Schwartz and his staff strive to bring you the most personal, private, and educational consultation and surgery. Our surgery center has state of the art equipment, and uses only board certified anesthesiologists for your safety. Dr. Schwartz completed his Plastic Surgery training at The University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, one of the premier residency programs in the country. His training in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery included extensive training in all areas of cosmetic surgery. He has authored and presented numerous papers, and has been an invited speaker at several national plastic surgery meetings. Dr. Schwartz has also been honored with several teaching awards. Dr. Schwartz is double board certified and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). He is also a fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
