At Scripps, safety is our top priority and we are taking extra steps to protect our patients, staff and clinicians. We ask you to help by wearing your own face covering when in a Scripps facility. We are also offering mobile check-in for scheduled appointments from your vehicle at select Scripps locations. We'll alert you when it's time to enter for your visit. Telehealth options are also available so you can receive expert care for minor health concerns from the comfort of home. Scripps HealthExpress walk-in clinic in Vista provides care for minor illnesses and injuries, as well as select vaccinations. Designed to care for those 5 and older, the clinic is available in the early mornings, during business hours, in the evenings and on weekends. HealthExpress is located inside Scripps Coastal Medical Center Vista on the second floor in family medicine. There is a dedicated check-in area staffed by a patient service representative. You can also self check-in at any kiosk. Scripps HealthExpress accepts most health insurance plans, and your visit is billed as a primary care office visit (excluding sports physicals). If you are paying out-of-pocket or making a co-pay, we accept credit cards, cash and checks.
