"Charles - thanks so much for the MobiLegs crutches. After using regular crutches for 1 week and then using these for close to 3 weeks, I can attest to a considerable difference! The MobiLegs are lighter and easier on the hands. The armpit rests move with you and minimize soreness. The hand rests are contoured to fit your hand and sloped toward the crutch so the weight does not rest entirely on your palm. After one week with the old crutches, my palms were very sore. After almost 3 weeks with the MobiLegs, my hands are not sore at all. I also find these crutches more stable going up and down stairs.
