VR Heating & Cooling was a God send! When my until decided to die on me during August, my friend suggested I contact VR to inspect the work, he had them do some work a year ago and liked their work. Their owner, Vince, came out to our place and diagnosed the problem as being the compressor. Since the unit was original to the house, built 1990, it was suggested to replace the unit, which they did without any difficulties. About a month after they got the unit running they came to inspect the new unit, Vince called us again to ensure everything was running smoothly. I later found out from a friend in Louisiana who is also in the field that similar work would've cost me hundreds more than I actually paid. They were great and I will highly recommend them to anyone in or around Tuscaloosa.

overpriced even though their add in yellow pages said they were best rates in town. overcharged for a thermostat. found one on line for way less that was exactly the same. feel that the two guys were unnecessary it was a one man job. had to pay for a helper, too. not happy. felt they took advantage of my being female.
