Love this place. Live the free chips with the amazing white sauce. Food is consistent and always excellent! Highly recommended.

I gave this restaurant 1 star due to the fact I don't know how to make it a half. Me and my wife and my children were in the mood for Mexican cuisine and thought why not try something different the El Charro. So we went there and enjoyed the atmosphere and the service we would give them 3 or 4 stars, but then came our food. I ordered 2 tacos (1 soft & 1 hard) with a side of beans and rice. My wife ordered enchilada and a soft taco with a side of beans and rice. My 2 daughters ordered 2 soft tacos . The food came and it looked amazing but then we started to eat and looked at each other at the same time and thought the same thing, IT WAS AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Using AWFUL would be an understatement by far. For starters with my meal with the tacos (Soft & Hard) lacked flavor to the fullest there was not a hint of taste to anything in the tacos, the beans were basically smashed beans with no flavors added, then the rice tasted like WHITE rice it was totally plain or blain. My wife's course had the same complaint as mine with the taco, then her enchilada she said had ZERO FLAVOR and the enchilada sauce u could tell was straight from the cheapest can possible. My kids took 1 bite each of there taco and instantly had the look of disgust. So all in all the food was awful and lacked flavor to the fullest extent. The service and atmosphere was excellent but when you go to a Mexican restaurant the food is the most vital key. I would have rather had excellent food with horrible service rather then the experience I had tonight.
