Boarded my dog this weekend for 17 hours. They promised they would take her out since she is grass trained so she wouldn't have to pee on the concrete slab connected to her kennel. They didn't take her out at all. We sent her with a large tub of food and she is 6 lbs... maybe eats 1/2 cup a day.. and the tub was over half gone upon picking her up which would be more than she eats in a month. She came home fearful, cried the entire way home, was constipated followed by diarrhea. Upon calling the facility regarding her care, the owner was rude and cocky. He assured me they took her out 5 times which, given her behavior, is a lie. Upon seeking out recommendations for another boarding facility, three other people described terrible behavior changes in their dog after boarding at this facility. Don't risk your pets physical or emotional health on this prison of a place.

We have been here numerous times. The owners are friendly, hardworking, upstanding people who absolutely love animals. I highly recommend both Happy Dog Kennels and their sister property Happy Dog Hideaway. I leave my pets in their care without any worry or hesitation as I know they are very well cared for.

I have been taking my dogs (use to have 3 but 2 passed away) to Happy Dog for 8 years. They are very friendly. The have runner kennels so your dog can go inside or outside as they please and it is also air conditioned! The owners have several dogs of their own so I know they share the same love of animals as I do! Every time we leave town our dog goes to Happy Dog and feel very relieved she is in great care and do not have to worry.
