      Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, located in Shreveport, La., provides education, patient care services, research and community outreach. It encompasses the School of Medicine, the School of Graduate Studies, the School of Allied Health Professions, the Louisiana State University Hospital and E. A. Conway Medical Center. The center s services include educating physicians, scientists, residents, scholarship fellows and allied health professionals based on advanced curricula and prepares students for careers in health care. It also provides modern art clinical care, including a range of tertiary special services and a diverse regional base of patients database. In addition, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center provides basic science and clinical research programs that contribute to the body of knowledge and practice in science and medicine.
