Great service and the in store price was the s as quoted on the phone. Will definitely return for more tires when necessary.

Went there for tires. Went back soon thereafter for an alignment and rotation. Refused to rotate unless I bought a new tire. Bought a new tire, got the alignment and rotation. Went in 4 months later for another rotation as per their recommendation. AGAIN, insisted they wouldn't rotate unless I bought a new tire. Luckily my husband was with me and asked them why. Man stammered to come up with an explanation, which included possibly having something wrong with the ball joints or suspension - tire itself was fine. I left. Went to Evans tire down the street. They laughed when I said Big O said I needed a new tire and said it sounded like Big O just wanted to sell me a new tire. They rotated my tires. I took my car into the Chevy dealership the next day to check ball joints and suspension. Both were perfect and no problems were detected. Bottom line is - this place is a complete rip off and are out to scam people out of money. They will sell you on their free rotation service - which they then refuse to perform unless you replace new tires with newer tires.

I took my truck in to get two new tires put on the front because of the wear and tear. I figured it was because my truck needed a front end alignment. I took it in and told the guy just put two new tires, same kind as the ones on it and align them so I will be set to go. He briefly glanced at the wear on my tires and began to tell me that he has to change out my struts and shocks before he does the tires and alignment. I call my mechanic real quick while he checked for the tires in stock. I was blown away by what my mechanic said... the struts and shocks have nothing to do with the wear of the tread on the tire walls and that Big-O was trying to scam me for extra work done. I told the guy to then just do the tires and alignment so I can chat pay and go. He didn't end up doing the alignment because of what he said: "Im not going to do the alignment until you're ready to have the struts/shocks replaced." I told him he will never touch my struts and shocks and I would be taking my vehicles to Costco from here on out, where I've had better care and without the rip off. I later took my truck to my mechanic and he tested my struts/shocks and said there isnt a damn thing wrong with my struts/shocks... my advice it to avoid Big-O Tires at all costs, especially the one in San Marcos and Poway CA. Go to a trustworthy place, such as Costco.

Big O replaced our spark plugs and coils needed to be replaced as well as the valve cover gasket. We were told that the Escape would be ready on Saturday the 7th. When we arrived to pick it up the guy told us that it was now "running worse than when [we] had brought it in," and there must be something else wrong. They could not find the problem after 3 days. Come to find out (after taking to another place that came highly recommended and where I should have gone first, that "wires to front coils [were] not connected to correct coil causing the coil to fire at the wrong time [which] caus[ed] the cats (catalytic converters) to overheat and melt." The #1 was connected to the #3 and the #3 to the #1. Now they won't even own up to what they did wrong. I'm taking it to the B.A.R. NEVER will I go to any Big O again.

Also as I left the parking lot, I ran into a guy who paid for BFG tires, but Big O put on generic name tires instead.



I agree with Tim who rated this place too. STAY AWAY!!! They seem like they want to help you, and have great people skills, but stink at fixing cars. THIS PLACE DOESN'T FIX THINGS....IT BREAKS THINGS!
