Being a vegetarian, I had a good experience at Joy Buffet. The prices are very reasonable. I enjoyed my egg drop soup, a beautiful vegetable medley with brown sauce, rice noodles, cucumber salad and seaweed salad. The deserts were good.
Plenty of parking and service was very good.

Our family went to eat at the East Buffet and all of us have been sick with different types of sickness,headache, stomachache, visiting the bathroom frequently.



One of us started chocking on the egg drop soup. I had the hot and sour with miso mixed in it tasted good to me. The rest of the party had a variety of other food items. Since I can not eat shell fish, I was trying to read the labels on the top but most ofthe labels did not match the food under the sign. This place CLAIMS they do not use MGS but for everyone of us to get sick with all of these different ailments tells me something was wrong. One of my party members had to go to the doctors to be treated for high blood pressure she is in her 80's. One brokeout in hives, a severe migraine etc. If anyone attempts to eat at this restraunt beware of what you eat and if it tastes funny do not eat it

Walked in for the 1st time everything looked good. I went straight for the Mongolian BBQ. The beef was over cooked and very tough, while waiting for the guy to cook my food I got some Egg drop soup, this soup had no flavor very bland, So I got a salad and noticed it didn't have the salad dressing I like, which is blue cheese.. After about 10-15 mins of waiting for my food I took one bite and couldn't chew the meat. So I pushed it aside and went and got some ice cream that was good, No on the other hand, We came with my in-laws my father in law didn't complain he had the Salmon and fried fish, my mother in-law said the fried fish was good and so was the chicken wing but the Beef Broccoli had a funny taste and couldn't eat it. My husband started eating his food and he stated the stuffed shrimp ball had a funny taste and some chicken he thinks might have been sesame chicken also taste funny. My husband always has 2-3 plates he didn't even finish his 1st plate. He was in the restroom most of the time.. We went home and he was in the restroom from then on.. He hasn't been able to eat anything, he thinks he got food poisoning.. I didn't eat enough and didn't have the same thing to get food poisoning. My mother in-law is not feeling well also. We will not go back there again!! I would not recommend this place to anyone and this place just opened up not that long ago!
