Provided by YP.comI just started working in the area of this cozy restaurant...I had never paid much attention to it, as to be honest, its quite small and not much to look at from the outside but once you get in, you won't want to leave. I took my girlfriend here for the first time, a couple of weeks ago, and from the moment we walked in the door, we felt so welcome and taken care of, we would just look at one another every once in a while and smile...the loud and hilarious bartender, the extremely charming owner, the friendly staff and then the food! well, words can't describe. my girlfriend had this mustard chicken, which doesn't sound like much, but wow did she love it and obviously i did too. i had the paella, the spanish rice with seafood and chicken and it was amazing. i would definitely recommend this spot and remind people not to judge a book by its cover.
This is a wonderful find, right in the heart of the City. The luncheon menu is extremely reasonable, and the fare is very good. It is an attractive, friendly restaurant that has all the attributes of a much more expensive venue. When we go to the City (from upper Westchester County) this is our usual haunt. We refer to it as Our Club, as do a number of my business associates. Ramon San Martin, the genial owner and host of this eponymously named restaurant, will greet you like an old friend once you have been there.
