Emergency Pet Hospital of Collier County is proud to serve the Naples FL area for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Erik Madison, Dr. Miyahira and Dr. Oomah, who are licensed, experienced Naples veterinarians. Our caring and skilled doctors and staff will treat your pet with compassion and integrity to help your pet and you through whatever crisis may arise. In 1993, local veterinarians recognized a real need in Collier County for an after-hours emergency veterinary hospital. They perceived that a centrally located specialized facility, which had emergency personnel ready to respond, would make critical emergency care more readily available after office hours. The Emergency Pet Hospital of Collier County was established. The hospital has since grown, along with our community and progressed with advances in veterinary emergency care. The hospital is not intended to serve as a substitute for your family veterinarian, but rather, as an independent extension for emergency care. Clients are referred back to their regular practices when follow-up care is needed. Due to the nature of an emergency facility, patients arrive at any time. Emergencies are treated in order of severity. Please understand that patients may not be seen on a first come, first serve basis. After several years of planning and permitting we have recently moved into our new hospital. It is designed specifically to enhance our ability to care for emergency patients. We have an excellent flow pattern, exceptional visibility of our ICU and treatment area, a full feature isolation room, noise and odor reduction features, comfortable waiting room options, and a centrally located easy to find facility. Your website is outdated, g+ and Y! has no information, the twitter account is apparently closed. In case you haven't noticed, social media is pretty important these days. Regarding your business specifically, your social media is outdated, redundant and boring. Where is the mission statement for your organization? Obviously one does not exist. The newsletter appears to be copy/pasted from a vet magazine or journal, there is no personalization. Confidence in client care and staff reputation of the pet hospital can only be built when there is direct contact. Professional veterinary staff should contribute at least one personally researched and written article per month, for credibility if nothing else. Give me one good reason why I would choose your hospital over another if the only information at hand was your social media page and the outdated (on undated) patient google or yelp reviews.There are no Facebook updates about the office's community involvement such as open house events or holding pet adoptions on site, pictures of staff at work helping and loving the animal patients, volunteering and supporting local pet adoption fundraisers or other nonprofit benefits for animals in Collier County. The name of your business is Emergency Pet Hospital of Collier County. Where is the connection to the county you serve? Where are the pictures in support of your mission statement? I forgot, there is no mission statement, no sentiment of the company's core values. There is no information about homeless animal advocacy in the county you serve. There is no mention of the current laws, and pending or recently changed laws in Collier County, regarding homeless animals or what your office is doing to advocate county tax money for rescues and homeless animals.I was unable to find a list of no-kill shelters in the area or address and phone information of such organizations. I was also unable to find information about how to get in touch with the wild animal rescue by the zoo. It is of the utmost importance to specifically state what to do and where to go if a homeless or unattended animal is hurt or sick that would take in and provide care from a no-kill organization. Does Collier County have a no-kill policy for their humane society? What about a no-kill policy for county animal enforcement? These are important posts for Facebook, Twitter, Google Circles and other social media outlets. There are only so many silly posts with funny faces that one can stomach. There's absolutely no creativity, rather quite the opposite, an obvious lack of interest and respect for your business. Your office shows very low credibility with only sparse google or yelp reviews, most of which are outdated or show no date, some of which are less than rave reviews as well. Fire your marketing manager, hire a full time social media employee, let the public see the faces and get to know the personalities of the staff by frequently posting comments and pictures of the work you do and the mission statement your office staff supports. Retain good, hardworking, long term employees with an onsite approachable manager, a very specific and detailed personal bio when one is chosen as employee of the month, post the name on a wall plaque in the waiting room, make an announcement in the newsletter, on Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets. Make it a point to reinforce ethical work practices and teamwork by giving a gift card along with public recognition of the employee of the month. Most of all, for the love of God, stop reposting so many pictures of supposedly funny, cute or adorable animals making statements. The Emergency Pet Hospital of Collier County's Facebook page is, if anything, completely and utterly useless and redundant.

There are no helpful tips to keep pets healthy from vet staff, only what appears to be copy/paste journal articles, there are no pictures or support of local pet rescues and fundraising events for rescues in the area, again, PC words for rescues in general but nothing that personalizes the office with specific Collier County fundraising and rescues. The name of your business is Emergency Pet Hospital of Collier County. Where is the connection to the county you serve? Where are the pictures in support of your mission statement? Fire your marketing company, let the public see the faces and get to know the personalities of the staff by posting comments and pictures of the work you do and for the love of God, create a mission statement, prove that you live by it and stop posting so many stupid pictures that only low IQ and non-college attendees would find amusing year after year after year.
Our dog loved the dog beach at Bonita Springs but got sick from drinking salt water despite the fresh water we provided. By 530pm he was really sick but the Emergency Vet hospital was open all night and quickly admitted him. We got update calls from the vet during the evening and were able to pick up Buddy the next morning along with medications . He was back to normal the next day. The clinic was fantastic!
Our dog, a diabetic Yorkie, became gravely ill on Christmas day 12/25/11. He was suffering seizures and barely hanging on. We made the decision to bring him to the Emergency Pet Hospital to end his misery. Bad mistake. When we brought him in he was suffering from another seizure. They made us wait in the exam room while the doctor discussed another dogs treatment plan out at the front. That dog was fine and was going home. I felt there should have been a triage to help the dog most in need. The vet tech on duty was non-compassionet and had no sympathy for the cause. Extremely cold woman who should not be in the business of dealing with animals. More than likely because she had to work on Christmas day. The doctor that took care of Murphy did show compassion. I just wish Murphy didn't have to suffer by waiting the extra fifteen minutes in the exam room. Not a good experience and would not go back.
My dog Matilda was hit by a car and I was referred to the Emergency Pet Hospital by my vet. From the moment I stepped in the door their efficiency and compassion blew me away. Matilda was taken straight to back to have the doctor look at her, it ended up not being as bad as I had thought. Just a cut on her face that they stitched closed. Dr. Bino was fantastic and immediately put my mind at ease. Thank you to Dr. Bino and the staff for their compassion, and being so understanding when I was a total mess.
Thank God for the Emergecy Pet Hospital. 24 hours a day, there is a team of veterinary experts available to help your pet. Last night, my dog was the victim of a hit and run. He sustained a compound fracture of his thighbone. Dr. Madison came out to the car, picked up the injured dog, who weighs 94 pounds, and carried him into the clinic in his arms. Dr. Madison and his team went right to work to stabilize my dog, who was going into shock from the trauma of the accident. The doctor let me hold my dog, and kiss hm and give him encouragement. The tech, Daisy, put an IV in his arm and took care of his pain. The first time I visited the Emergency Pet Hospital was in 2005, when my other dog was hit while we were out running together. Dr. Madison and his team saved my dog that day and saved my other dog last night. There is no better place to take your pet in the event of an emergency.
I brought my pet in for emergency care and Dr Barbara was both inconsiderate and rude. She had an attitude and made us feel like we were being rushed through and putting her out. Hey abrupt personality and uncaring personality made my experience frightening and also tramatic for myself and dog. She is the type of person better suited as a judge or correctional officer than a compassionate vet. I would NEVER chose to return to this facility because of Dr Barbara
