Ugh, I have no patience for this poor arboriculture. If the climber got into the leader coming down and put the spikes on, thats perfectly exceptable. As long as those spikes never touched the part of the tree that was staying. Now the tree has many unnecessary wounds that it must over grow. Some trees he will kill doing this. I just get mad over it. So many of us do the right thing and are constantly educating our clients about proper arboriculture, and to be honest, I have clients that know more about arboriculture than that climber because of my constant educating. Sorry to rant and rave, I just get mad.This guy needs some help. He ought to know better being an ISA member. At 1:50 that one hand looked a little scary. Good rigging and video editing. But poor aboricultural practices. Sitting on a limb that you are cutting on is hardly extreme. He's in extreme need of A300 and Z133! No spikes while pruning live trees
