home repair service is a ripoff. was charged a $75 "trip fee", then added an additional $15 for ten minute repair job. also, was charged $60 (250% markup) for a part i could get on amazon for $17. basically, i paid $161 dollars to repair a washing machine that only cost $320 brand new. (replaced a small plastic lid switch) wrote company questioning excessive charges, but never heard back from them. i will discourage anyone from doing business with them in the future.

i.e., A local fOn August 15, 2012, I contacted Richard Hebert's Maytag in concern for having my Amana washing machine repaired. After agreeing to meet the repair man at my house at the specified time the following day, August 16, 2012, I had to track him down in my neighborhood as he clearly didn't appear to be in the direction of my home. I had to take off of work to do this. I had to immediately return to the hospital for an emergency, and I never heard back from the company at all. I found a note on my door saying they would have to rush order a part and repair it the following day. I had to initiate contact with the business to find out the status of my repair, for wich I was already to be billed $75 for the guy to diagnose the problem. I spoke to the woman on the phone who said that they could fix my washer the next day, today, August 17, to be home between the hours of 3pm-5pm. After waiting at my home, again having taken off of work, I phoned the store at 4 pm to see what the problem was. At this time the woman on the phone told me that they tried to get in touch with me but I wasn't around that they would have to come back on Monday, August 20. When I asked why they couldn't fix it today she said that the repair man was out of town!! After citing her poor customer service and telling her of my pregnant wife, 2 small kids, and the piles of laundry stacking up; and the fact that this was AWEFUL customer service, she said that they could come the next day between 8AM-9AM. I see that noone has filed a complaint about this place, but this was the first and last time I will ever deal with these RUDE people. avorite, or highly recommended because
