I purchased a Taurus revolver in Sept of 08. The cylinder would not turn when loaded as a new gun. I sent it in for repair and received confirmation on 10/15/08. It is now 4/28/09 nearly 7 months later. They have promised to repair the gun, but can't get the part. Then they promised to replace the gun but I haven't seen that either. I have owned 4 other Taurus pistols. Each of them has had issues and now it appears that the repair dept is inept as well. They won't fix, return or repair my gun. In effect they have stolen it. Take my experience into consideration when deciding on purchasing anything from this company.
