Even though its a little cluttered and too warm in the building I did find what I was looking for and more! My Great Uncle (Michael Burkart) was Ferndale's first police officer and it was fun looking at his photos and reading the stories that his son Mark had written. I'd love to go back and spend more time going through his and Mark's things!
