Incorporated in May 1939, Lane Electric Cooperative is a rural electric distribution cooperative. Based in Eugene, Ore., the company offers a wide array of programs and services to assist its residential, commercial, as well as industrial customers. Service territory of Lane Electric Cooperative spans across 2,600 square miles, including Forest Service land along its eastern boundary in the Cascade Mountains to Linn County, the Row River valley and Oakridge to its south. Lane Electric Cooperative is a member of the National Rural Electric Association (NRECA) and Northwest Energy Group (NEG).
