The Low T Clinic's staff has been accommodating, and communication has been mainly efficient, barring some miscommunications. However, the billing department's conduct is a different story. I confirmed before my first visit that my insurance was accepted. They informed me at my first consultation that I needed pre-authorization for treatment or could pay $225 per month until approval.

During my second visit, my insurance authorization was still pending. I had to either delay treatment for two weeks or pay another $225, which I chose to do. However, by the third week of my second month, there was still no insurance approval. Despite making it clear that I didn't want to pay another monthly fee and delay treatment until my insurance was approved, I was charged another $225. The clinic’s billing department, usually responsive within a day, has been silent since my query on May 31st about this charge.

When I expressed my concerns at the clinic, I was told nothing could be done. Apparently, the information I was initially given—that I could delay treatment and that my billing issue was resolved—was inaccurate. I was later told there was a mandatory three-month cash payment requirement, which, I believe, was a miscommunication.

If you're considering the Low T clinic, ensure they accept your insurance and if pre-approval is needed. If pre-approval is required, consider other options unless you can afford out-of-pocket costs. I'm continuing my treatment, already having been charged, with no refunds offered. I'll update this review each month I pay for treatment, to see how long it takes for my insurance to get approved.
