I am taking the time to post this review to protect others from this landscaping company who our HOA contracted in March 2017. Landscape Solutions of the Piedmont in Harrisburg is extremely expensive and the most corrupt landscaping company that I have ever witnessed:They refuse to allow homeowners access to their contract (I managed to copy their contract by hand from the HOA office), refuse to talk to homeowners, and threaten to call the police and charge you with harassment if you ever try to contact them.On June 23rd, their crew was short-handed according to one of their crew. The owner used this as a ready excuse to reduce the workload of the remaining crew. In fact, the entire LS crew left very early in the afternoon even though the ground had completely dried out by the afternoon. This company made a tidy profit that day at the expense of our homeowners and in violation of their contract.Their contract states Shrubs will have 4 complete prunings and will be spot trimmed as needed to maintain a neat and attractive appearance. Pruning is the most expensive part of a landscaping contract. After 7 months, our community has only received 1 pruning and no spot trimming. Our communitys bushes and shrubs are completely overgrown and shabby.There is a huge infestation of weeds this year due to this companys failure to apply preventive herbicide in March. Their herbicides do not work and the weeds continue to flourish in our grass, shrub beds, sidewalk cracks, and pavement cracks.The developer planted Monkey Grass in front of the majority of our townhomes in 2002. Much of it is overgrown or dead and needs to be cut back, but the owner is now insisting that the homeowners planted the Monkey Grass themselves and therefore need to prune it themselves.This company will provide the minimum service that they can get away with, take your money, and laugh all the way to the bank. Folks, it doesnt get any worse than this.
