new manager. great price and service

I wanted to forward my disappointment with this company. I am working on an older pickup and needed to have the transmission flushed with a new filter and some exhaust work. I went in on Wednesday and talked with Brian who said there would be no problem (I did take the pickup so he could look at it). He also said his "exhaust pro" was not in that day and we scheduled an appointment for Saturday (3 days later). I dropped my pickup off at 7:55am on Saturday (appointment time was 8:00). Brian asked if I would be leaving it and indicated it might take a few hours. I made sure he had my phone number and left expecting to hear from him later in the morning. By 5:50 pm I had heard nothing and went by the business to make sure everything was going well. When I got there, Brian said he tried to call with a question and that nothing had been done (no exhaust and no transmission). I looked on my phone and saw a missed call from the business at 2:24 (6 hours after appointment time) but there was no message. There were no other attempts to reach me and I am not sure where my pickup would have been had I not gone back to the business. The reason there had been no work done was because the exhaust work was going to be difficult. The solution that was recommended by the "exhaust pro" was something I could have done in my back yard. My disappointment lies with the fact that the business had my pickup all day, no work was done (even after initial look on Wednesday), no message on first attempt and no repeat attempts and the solution was nothing I needed this shop for.
