My pets are my best friends and so far I have not found an open shelter for my two adult cats. I don't want them to be put down and from reading the review before Im not sure now if I would go to Crossroads.

We adopted our "Lilli" from Crossroads. She was a stray,11 yrs. old and is going blind. She had been at the shelter for at least a month before we saw her. Love at 1st sight. Special care was given to her, including an extra vet exam, due to extensive water drinking before she was given to us. We found the environment clean and pets well cared for. People who worked there were friendly and caring. I highly recommend this facility to any one wanting to adopt a pet.

Shocked to hear the pups we brought in were euthanized because they were "unadoptable". Shelter staff never really explained what that exactly meant.

Oh, they kept the generous donation we gave them.
