Provided by YP.comWe did not have a pleasent experience at Luigi's. We had a 6:30pm reservation on a Sat. Arrived early, but they were behind so could not seat us. At 6:45p, we told the desk we had to leave by 8pm, and was told it would be just a few minutes. Finally at 7pm, they gave us a table. Dinner was very rushed - no time for appetizers, 1 drink, dinner came at 7:25p for 2 adults and 1 child. Food was ok (except dessert), better than Olive Garden, but not the caliper of Maggiano; similar to Barnelli's, with a wider selections. We ordered dessert and the check. The dessert came at 7:45p and looked like there was finger print on the cheese cake, so sent it back. We live in the Northshore area and picked this place based on the reviews. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area because of their lack of commitment to reservation times, which basically ruined the dinner.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful, the service is wonderful, the portions are large, and the food is beyond compare!
One of my favorite restaurants. Excellent food and service
Luigi's has an outstanding atmosphere. The food is some of the best italian in the area. The service is okay, but the food makes up for it. Fairly priced as well.

I attended a rehearsal dinner at Luigi's. The food and service were both fabulous.
Wrong preparation, wrong food served three times one visit. Same experience next four (and last) times, but only served twice wrong. Cold food when should have been hot and just a bum experience each and every time. Bathroom has NOT got enough room for a wheelchair (one visit). Cannot sum up everything here. Management was solicitous, but had not control over correcting anything. Unfortunately did not offer money back. AVOID this place!
The chef out does himself everytime. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere wonderful. I experienced the outdoor dining last summer and was pleasantly surprised to see the chef in the garden picking herbs! The only thing that could beat it is Italy..Linda Panozzo
