He was not very personable to me. I always felt rushed. He would be in and out within a matter of minutes. He operated on me and I was hospitalized for 4 days. He made his rounds daily while I was hospitalized (he and his male P.A.John or Jonathan). Out of the 4 mornings he came in, I would say he spent a total of 8-10 mins. Again, that is the TOTAL and not per day.



I was misdiagnosed. I was advised that I was having an operation on one thing, only to wake up to find out it was something else. It was not even close to what I'd been originally told was wrong with me. The surgery he performed failed 100%. To add insult to injury, he never told me it failed. While recovering and going to follow ups with him (over about a 4-5 week timeframe) my gut was telling me something wasn't right. 2 plus 2 was not equalling 4. I obtained my records from the hospital, went to see 2 other doctors (my family physician and another Thoracic Surgeon) who both confirmed my suspicion was correct. They also said it was obvious while I was hospitalized after the surgery that it failed. All of my ultrasounds, scans, tests, reflected such. I am now under the care of another surgeon whom is the complete opposite of him. Sadly, I'm facing another major operation with abother hospitalization and minimum 8 week recovery but I'm thankful that things are as well as they are with my new doctor. I would not recommend Dr. John Gouldman

When, at age 63, I learned that I had cancer in my lung and needed major surgery, I set about locating the best surgeon in Atlanta and thereby found Dr. John Moore. My search proved to be on the money, as my experience with Dr. Moore was that he treated me with as much skill and knowledge as I could have hoped for. His surgical technique allowed me to get through this procedure with much less pain and discomfort than I imagined possible and effected a cure. Throughout my surgery and treatment, Dr. Moore and his office staff were always on top of my situation and I took great comfort in knowing that I was being treated by a thoroughly professional medical team, which was able to secure the best possible outcome for me.

best doctor with the best staff. I learned in the ER on a Saturday afternoon I had a mass on my lung. I was beyond scared. I was referred to Dr. Moore's office from a friend. He said "he is the trusted him with his life." I called first thing Monday morning. Denette set me up an appointment with Dr. Moore that day! Denette was the first angel I met that day. She was very compassionate and knew how scared I was. During my appointment, Dr. Moore set me up with many test that week. I definitely felt like a top priority. He was the first doctor that was not just treating symptoms, but going to help me or as he said "fix me." The test showed I had a carcinoid tumor on my left lung and my left lower lung was damaged beyond repair from the infection. Next step was surgery. Dr. Moore removed the cancer, 19 lymph nodes, and my lower left lung. Within one month of my first appointment with Dr. Moore, he ran many test, performed surgery, I was in the hospital for 5 days, and home for one week with all of my test results. Dr. Moore allowed me to celebrate my daughter's first birthday without a heavy heart. I cannot say enough about Dr. Moore and his team. Denette and Crystal were so kind and helpful. I called them a lot: and they were always welcome to talk to me. The entire staff was compassionate and professional. I truly felt like they cared and they did! I cannot say enough. They are the best.
