Fish, butterfly shrimp and oysters were all delicious. I enjoyed the meal, lunch special was good food for a great price.

This used to be our go to place when my son wanted crab legs. Always the best in town, with the choices we have. Definitely not this time! For starters, our server didn’t seem to even know the menu or what they had at the moment. We over looked it because of the COVID situation, maybe they were new. But as we start to ask questions about items, it seemed he had a little attitude. Like we were asking stupid questions or something. Again overlooked. We order, he tells us crab legs will be at least a 25 min wait. That’s fine, we order some appetizers to start while we wait. The oysters we orders did not look or smell good. We tried them anyway. Both myself and my husband bit in to shells with both of our oysters. While waiting on our food the server, after I’ve already ordered the crab legs tells me they do not have crab crackers to crack them with. That would have been nice to know before I ordered them! What restaurant that sells crab legs doesn’t have the crackers for it, and they have always had them before might I add. We all get our food and my husbands grouper didn’t even look like grouper, and after eating it he had a stomach ache. His potato was cold. They forgot to bring us our cheese grits. They brought us a plate that we didn’t order. An extra side salad we didn’t order. An extra cup of gumbo we didn’t order. Took them 30 mins to ask if I wanted another beer or something else to drink. Overall I doubt we will be back. I’ve never had this problem here ever, and I’m disappointed.

There food is always hot and fresh and absolutely delicious. The employees and staff there are always so friendly and nice. Over all it's just a all around great eating place for just you or for the family.

They should take bbq off the title.. They don't know what it is to start with so how can they make it right.

Popcorn shrimp was very chewy, hush puppies weren't fully cooked, frits were watery, tea was nasty, and there was a roach crawling on the floor. I had to ask the waiter 3 times for a straw and he was too busy talking to his friends at another table. The only thing that was ok about this place was the fries. The price is outrageous! Stick with Red Lobster...

Blackbeard's offer good seafood at a reasonable price. With generous portion sizes the eating here will have you very much satisfied. The service is quick and the workers have great personalities. The food is excellent!!

I visited Blackbeard's Bar B-Que in Albany, Ga. for the first time on 1/21/12 and the service was fantastic! The waitress was very attentive, never forgot that we were there (although she was attending two tables of 12 or more). She always came back and checked on our drinks and anything that we needed. The food was delicious. Everything was served in a timely manner and seasoned well. I was so full when I left there. Thanks Blackbeards for a job well done!
