One week my wife and I stopped by the Sears Optical to see if the optometrist took my works Davis Vision plan so my daughter and wife could get there eye examination.



We left the insurance number so the sectary could check with Davis Vision. 1 hr later the sectary called me saying that Davis Vision would be in network and I made the appointment.



A week after the eye examinations Dr Susan Tran Klemens called my wife and told her Davis Vision is rejecting the billing of the examinations and that we need to pay $230.



I called Davis Vision and spoke to two repersentives and they both told me that there is no way that Davis Vision would have told Dr Susan Tran Klemens office that my plan would be covered.



I called Dr Susan Tran Klemens office and asked the sectary for the persons name at Davis Vision that she talked to and got preapproval from and she told me his name was Daniel.



I called Davis Vision again and was told that Daniel does not work in the department that would give out approvals and there is no way Dr Susan Tran Klemens office could have received pre approval for me to receive treatment as my plan will not allow it from Dr Susan Tran Klemens.



I feel that I was told that I was covered to get me in the door then hand me a bill and blame the insurance company.
